Gage has always been a great sleeper! I even blogged a couple weeks ago about him sleeping in until 9! Recently there has been a change in his habits. He is still sleeping well... it is getting him to sleep that we are having problems with! He is a night owl! He would normally fall asleep with a bottle in my arms or Todd's between 9 and 10! Now we are lucky if he goes to sleep before 11 and when we do put him to bed... if he isn't sleeping... he SCREAMS to the top of his lungs and rolls around thrashing in his bed! When he rolls onto his belly he has a hard time rolling back over onto his back... so if he falls asleep on his belly he wakes up and 3 or 4 SOAKING WET, because he pees right up threw his diaper! Or, sometimes when we put him to bed he POOPS and will wake himself up from a dead sleep... we get up and change him (If he wakes up, if he doesn't he sleeps in his poop all night and has had a rash on his bottom for 2 weeks now!) and we can't get him to go back to sleep! I end up staying awake with him because my subbing is pretty spiratic... but it is hard for me to have ANY energy whether I am subbing or not, to do anything the next day if I have been awake with him all night! AHHHHHH!!!! It is just really frustrating and I really feel bad leaving him in his crib to cry himself to sleep! He sounds so sad! It breaks my heart! Does anyone have any suggestions?

Well, I would say to try a sleep positioner like you said last week. I would check them out at babies r us maybe they have some that are a little bigger to hold him in. Let him cry himself to sleep in the positioner. If you can't handle him screaming his head off then maybe get one of those sleep sounds with lights things that hopers has. They sooth and stay on all night. Love you.
