Wednesday night Gage tried eating some sweet peas for the very first time! YUCK!! That was his initial reaction. He did not like them at all. He wouldn't even open his mouth half the time. I had to get him to laugh and then sneak the spoon in his mouth. This method didn't really work anyway because he would get one taste of them and spit em right back out! He was even gaging. It was actually kind of comical. We were able to video tape him too! What a goof! We did try them again the very next day and he didn't seem to HATE them as much as the day before but he still didn't love them like he does his carrots! OHH well... we will just keep trying!!

I am thankful Lincoln will eat anything--literally. I think one of his favorites are peas.
If you have time, try making them yourself for him (puree them)...they taste way different than baby food and so much better. Just a thought. I haven't bought Lincoln any baby food yet and he's been eating it for 6 weeks-ish. It's been great :). Good luck.
So, uncle Wayne says...."don't eat em Gage!"
The green peasand the green beans always made ME gag when I opened the jar....oh yuck, I still remember the popping sound and the nasty smell.
I always gave the baby a chance to taste them, and was amazed if they'd actually eat them! I remember being so happy when the baby was old enough to eat regular food!
