JUMPEROO

So, I wanted to get Gage a Jumperoo for Christmas but when I went to Babies R Us and checked out the weight limit it said the limit was 24 pounds. Well, that wasn't going to work for us since Gage weighs (according to Papa McCann who weighs him at his house) 22 pounds!!! So, I figured there would be no point in buying it if he was going to exceed the weight limit.

So last Sunday Todd and I went to my friend's house so Todd could help them move a hot tub. To make a long story short, they have a 7.5 month old baby who has a Jumperoo!!! So, I put Gage in it and he LOVED it. He spent a half hour playing in it. It was so cute!!!

So, I got on Craigslist and found one for 35 dollars. Gage loves it. Last night he played in it for 2 hours straight!! YEAH!!! He is so cute!

Apples, Pumpkins, & Hayrides

On Saturday Todd and I met my parents, my brother, and his four boys at the apple orchard. We had a lot of fun. The top picture is of Uncle Brandon taking Gage down the big slide! His cousins thought it was so cool that Gage went down like a big boy! I was a little nervous but Gage seemed to not even care!

Todd and I both picked out a pumpkin for Gage. It was a lot of fun. Gage was very content on the hayride. He looked so cute in his hat that Grandma McCann got him!

Daddy and Gage watching the boys ride the horses! They are so cute!

I don't have very many photos of just me and Gage because I am usually the one who is taking the pictures! I liked this one. We both look good! I wish I could say Gage looks like me but everyone seems to think he looks just like Daddy! We had a lot of fun at the apple orchard. Gage was a very good boy.

I'm a BIG boy!

Gage weighs over 20 lbs now and I was having a HARD time carying the infant car seat! So, as much as I didn't want to let the infant car seat go I had too! SAD FACE! I wanted to wait as long as I could but I had to give in because he is just to heavy to cary around! I love this picture of him! He loves his new seat! It doesn't smoosh him when we put him in it and he doesn't cry when we strap him in! I am sad to see the infant car seat go but I am happy for Gage that he is more comfortable in his new seat!

I was cleaning out Gage's closet last week and he was taking a nap in his swing. Which he is also getting too big for!! This is how I found him when I got done cleaning. He was wide awake and laying almost sideways in his swing! His head wasn't even being propped up! What a goofball!

Gage rolled over last week from his belly to his back! It is very infrequent but he does it! I snapped a few pictures of him on his belly! He was way too cute! I love his big head when he looks up at me! What a sweet heart!

ROLLING OVER!!

Just about 20 minutes ago Gage rolled over for the first time! My in- laws, my parents, and Todd and I have been putting Gage on his belly to get him moving and hopefully rolling over! Well, all of our hard work finally paid off! I laid him on his belly and he rolled right over to his back! I thought it was a fluke so I put him back on his belly and he did it again! Then he showed off his rolling skills to Daddy when he came home for lunch! He hasn't mastered the ability to roll over from his back to his belly but that will come I am sure!! I can't believe Gage is getting so big so fast! What a precious little baby! I LOVE YOU BOO!!! I didn't get a chance to snag a video but I will tonight! Shortly after he started rolling over it was time for him to eat so I had to feed him and I can't put him on his belly right after he has eaten because he will BARF!! (made that mistake one too many times!!

Bath in the SINK?

Last Sunday morning I let the dogs out and started feeding the baby. When Todd got up he let the dogs in and started yelling!! I knew they got into something! Sure enough... they both were COVERED in mud. So, before any of us got ready for church the pups had to take a bath. Since they were taking longer than expected and the bathroom was DISGUSTINGLY dirty from them, I decided to give Gage a bath in the kitchen sink! He loved it. I was a little difficult because he can't sit up on his own yet but we managed and he had a great time!

Hunting With Daddy

Todd took the day off of work before he went to Mexico to do a little hunting. I thought it would be cute if Gage put on his hunting gear too! They looked so cute! Todd is so excited for Gage to be old enough to go out in the woods with him!

My snowsuit!

It has been pretty cold lately. So, one chilly afternoon I went to my mom's house and decided to put Gage in his snowsuit. I know that he will not fit in it for much longer because he is so big so I wanted him to be able to get as much use out of it as possible!
Gage is still in his infant car seat... I am having a hard time giving it up even though he weighs 20 pounds. I am being selfish because I don't want him to grow up... he is only 4 months old and shouldn't need to be in a BIG boy car seat... I know eventually I will have to put him in one... VERY soon.. but for now I am going to hold off! (At least another week!)

So, anyway I put him in his snowsuit and "tried" to fit him in his car seat!!! HA!! It was a very tight squeeze! I guess if I want him to wear the snowsuit we will have to break down and get out the big boy car seat!!

He does look cute in his snowsuit though!!

Happy Birthday Papa Mark

My dad's birthday is at the end of September and we celebrated it at his house with my siblings, our significant others, and our children. Needless to say it was a busy evening! We ate subs and had cake and ice cream. Todd and I were almost the last ones to leave and my dad grabbed Gage and held him. (This is a pretty big deal... I know that my Dad loves him but he has a hard time showing his love) So, he held him and made him laugh. It was so sweet and nice to see. Gage was loving it! He kept laughing and smiling! It was very sweet and a much needed connection was made between them!

Cousins

I took this video a couple of weeks ago! Gage and I went to my mom's house to visit her and Ava.(she babysits Ava for my sister 3 days a week) They were both a little fussy so I decided to put them both under Gage's play mat! (I take it everywhere we go because it keeps him occupied and he loves it!) They loved it! It was so cute! They both had a blast playing under it and I think Gage enjoyed having someone to share his fun toy with! HOW CUTE

Gage's first TOOTH!!!

Gage has been battling the teething issue for almost 3 weeks now! I knew a tooth was near... or at least I was hoping because he has been fussy and has had cold like symptoms for 2 weeks! (Yes I did take him to the doc to make sure he wasn't super sick and the doc said he was fine and probably teething and other than vics, and a vaporizer there wasn't much we could do for him!) So, yesterday my in-laws watched Gage for me so I could CLEAN my house! Which let me just add... Todd's parents are awesome! Todd's Dad is retired and his mom works part time so they have volunteered their time to watch Gage when I sub, when I have homework, and or when I just need a day... like yesterday when I cleaned all day! It is great to have them when I need them! They are great and Gage has a fun time hanging out with them! Anyway, I went to their house to pick him up after a long day of cleaning and Gage had been working hard on a nice surprise for me!!! He has a TOOTH!! I was so happy for him but sad at the same time! I can't believe my baby has a tooth. It is hard to see it but you can feel the whole tooth poking out of the gums! So cute! I love it! I don't have a picture yet because it is so hard to see but I am sure I will get some eventually!

4 Months Old

Last week Gage turned 4 months old! I know I say this every month but TIME FLIES! I can not believe he is getting so big! We are so blessed to have such a happy baby! I took him to his 4 month check up and he got 2 shots. He did very well. He cried a little bit but when she was done with her pokes he was done crying until the nurse tried to talk to him and he freaked out! It was almost like he was thinking, "You just poked me 2 times and now you are going to try and be nice," and as soon as she stopped talking to him he stopped crying! HA! What a turkey!
