Satuurday we had a birthday party at Huckleberry Junction! (comparable to Chuck E Cheese) Gage had a blast looking at all the lights and watching the puppets sing on the stage! He even got to ride a few rides!

Baby Dedication

On Sunday Todd and I dedicated Gage back to the Lord. Our belief is that God gave us this becautiful baby on "loan" and it is our duty to dedicate him back to the lord and raise him in the likeness of HIM! We promised to raise Gage in church and teach him about God and raise him in a good Christian home. It was a great day and a great ceremony!

It was so nice to have everyone there with us. My parents. Todd's parents, My dad and his wife, my grandparents on both sides, Todd's sister, my sister her husband, my brother, my Aunt Trish and Uncle Tim and there kids, and my very best friend Lori and her family. It is awesome to know that we have so much support from every one of these people. Gage is so lucky to have so many people to love him.

Todd and I will do our best to be the very best parents we can be.

We will teach him by example of how to grow up and become a good Christan young man. Todd will be an awesome example of what a husband and father should be and the things a husband should do and I will do my best to love him and protect him.

Thank you to all of our family and friends who are praying for Gage and our family and loving us everyday! We love you all!

20 POUNDS!!!

Grandpa McCann weighed Gage today and YUP he weighs 20 pounds!! Holy smokes! He is going to need to be in his convertable car seat!!!

Todd's parents emailed me a picture of Todd when he was 3 months old! HOLY COW!! They look exactly alike! I couldn't believe how much Gage looks like him!

TEETHING BABY!!!

Any suggestions for babies who are teething?? PLEASE HELP!! Gage is very cranky and he has a runny nose and he is chewing everything and drooling a lot!!!! I think those are all sure signs that a tooth or 2 are on their way!!! YIKES!!!

I LOVE MY TOWEL

One morning last week I gave Gage a bath and got him dressed for the day! That is what our usual morning routine is except this time he decided to play with his towel!! I think he just discovered it and it was way too cute for me not to take some pictures and a video of it! Don't mind me in the background!! ENJOY!!

GIGGLE

Todd was playing with Gage on his mat and got him to Giggle for the very first time! Gage is so cute. This is the first time he has actually Giggled and I think Todd was pretty proud of himself that he got him to do it! Both of us could not stop laughing! TOO CUTE!! Todd is such a wonderful father to Gage and an AWESOME husband to me! Gage and I are both very lucky to have him in our lives! Hope you enjoy the video!!

Cereal from bowl

When I first started giving Gage cereal it was a few tablespoons in his night time bottle. So the weekend after Labor Day I decided to start feeding him from a spoon to get him ready for fruits and veggies! He loved it! We were at my mom's house becauseTodd was out of town and he had a blast! Since then we have gotten much better at not being so messy when he eats it (except when Daddy feeds him!!) Ohh and Gage liked eating cereal from a bowl so much he even pooped in the middle of me feeding him!!

Labor Day Weekend PICS!!

I know I posted earlier about Labor Day weekend but I just downloaded some pictures from my camera and wanted to share them with you! These are pictures of Gage and Ava sleeping in Gage's pack-n-play!! They were so cute and slept there together for about 4 hours!!! They love each other! Gage also started something new recently... he loves AVA. When we hold Ava up to him or hold her over him he laughs! It is the cutest thing ever! He loves her already!!

Weight Loss update

Well, I wanted to let my AVID readers (if I even have any) know about my weight loss! I just weighed myself at my inlaws house the other day and I lost 6 pounds! I also fit into my moms size 14 shorts she let me barrow after I had the baby!! (Which up until the other day I couldn't even get them close to on!!) On Sunday I fit into a skirt that I haven't been able to wear in a long time it is a size 10 but a big 10 so I am pretty excited!! ALSO my WEDDING RING FITS now! I am really excited about that!! For the longest time I haven't been able to wear it because when I was prego my hands would swell like sausages and they were still HUGE up until a little bit ago!! I have about 15ish pounds to loose now! Wish me luck!

For those of you who are pregnant please know that it is highly unlikely that you will be in your "normal" clothes right after you give birth! I knew that but didn't realize it would take almost 4 months for me!! SO far that has been the hardest thing for me personally since I had the baby!! So, good luck to you and don't freak out and get worried like I did that you will never fit into your clothes again!!!!!

August 31st = 3 Months!!

Holy Cow! I can't believe he is 3 months old!! Time flies by so fast!

3 Month STATS:

(the 3 month stats are pretty similar to the 2 month stats!)

~He eats 6 oz every 3 hours

~He wears a size 3 diaper... he has some THUNDER THIGHS!!!

~He sleeps all night long! For the past week he has been sleeping for 9 hours!! YEAH!!

~He weighs about 15.5 lbs- 16lbs.

~He wears a 3-6 month and is pushing that!! In a few weeks he will be out of them.

~He loves to laugh and smile!

~He wakes up HAPPY and talking every morning!

~He goes to bed between 9-10.

~He drinks a cereal bottle at night although for the last week I discontinued it because he had diarrhea. I am hopeful we can start back up next week!!

~He loves to suck on his hands!!

Brownie Making Fun!!

This weekend was our annual family reunion! We always celebrate our family on Labor Day weekend! This year it was at my parent's house and it was Gage's first reunion! We had so much fun watching Gage get passed around from person to person. Gage was loving it up too!! Our reunion is 3 days long, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday morning. On Saturday the adults had a chili cook-off and the kids had a dessert cook-off! So, off course since it was Gage's first family reunion he had to make a dessert!! Gage made brownies!! YEAH!!!
